Emerging from Seattle's vibrant underground deep funk scene, Polyrhythmics have honed a distinctive sound that marries impenetrable grooves, formidable brass, and mesmerizing percussion. Their repertoire, a potent fusion of R&B, progressive jazz, and Afrobeat, embodies the richly diverse soundscape that characterized the instrumental group's early years. Now in their thirteenth year as a recording and touring ensemble, Polyrhythmics continue to evolve their sound, following a prolific output that includes six full-length albums, various EPs, and live releases.
