White Rabbit Presents Life as Artistic Practice

A workshop in performance art techniques derivative of the human experience. In this special introductory series, social artist Abram Katz will lead us into sharing and mirroring our collective stories utilizing psychodrama practices and emergent expressive art forms. Inspired by Playback Theatre and friends along the way, these self and group reflection exercises were compiled to help you express, listen, and connect with others through artful acts of loving kindness. Recurring bi-weekly through the end of September.
Explore performance art techniques with Abram Katz in this immersive workshop.
Abram Katz is a social artist specializing in Playback Theatre and expressive arts therapy. Over the past 10 years, he has been part of five Playback troupes from Oregon to Hawaii to the SF Bay Area. He studied drama therapy with Roni Alperin at Living Arts Counseling Center in Berkeley and worked with Self Revelatory Theatre under Armand Volkas. During COVID, he created transformative autobiographical theatre performances from his home. Now back in Ashland, he offers drop-in expressive arts classes at White Rabbit Creator Playhouse.
